All Class Caravan Hire

“We planned to hire the van for a week to go and look at the early spring flowers. We saw it as a trial for helping assess if the style of van would suite a longer-term plan to travel around Australia. The van is very well equipped, and we really did not need to take anything extra. Just needed food and clothing. In fact, there were some things we did not get to use, mainly because we were only away for five nights. Paula was really helpful and the handover was comprehensive. Even though I have hired a few vans in the past, the refresher on how things work was very useful. Paula communicated very well and helped us out with some technical hitches on the Camplify website. She also was very accommodating with the pick up and drop off times. This van is VERY comfortable for a couple and it was surprisingly easy to tow and manoeuvre. I found the double axle configuration helped the van remain stable, even with a bit of cross-wind. The turning circle was better than I expected and the van followed the car very well. Reversing the van was also really easy and the van responded to steering corrections in a predictable manner. We spent 5 nights free camping and enjoyed the comfort without needing to be in a powered site. We took a generator just in case, but only needed it for an hour or two when it rained/was overcast for a day. Paula was quick to respond when there were a few things I was not sure about. Actually, I would have found the answers in the manual if I had been more thorough in my skim through the very comprehensive file. The battery system linked to the solar panel on the roof worked flawlessly. We ran the fridge on gas and it was fantastic. Fridge and freezer were easily big enough for a longer trip. All our frozen food stayed fully frozen and we had ice for the sundowners every evening. The hand-back was painless and we were able to get back home ahead of schedule. Paula, thanks for such a well-appointed caravan that enhanced our short trip to see the wildflowers. Can't wait until we can go on another (perhaps longer) trip. Though there were problems with the flush on the toilet that couldn't be resolved due to the fuses blowing, it didn't deter from our overall enjoyment of the van. Disappointingly we had a tyre blow out on the caravan about 100km into our 210km return trip. Delays in trying to communicate for assistance with the owners was frustrating but we eventually worked our way through and got back on the road. Chris and Paula were very helpful and sympathetic upon our return, allowing us to return the van the next day.”
